SAFE TO EAT LINE

The SAFE TO EAT PRODUCE LINE is an all natural solution to the problem of cross-contamination associated with store bought produce. You and your family will enjoy the natural goodness and delicious flavor of cleaner, safer, fruits and vegetables. Rinsing with water alone will not remove pesticides, fungicides, waxes and other agricultural chemicals, which are water-resistant. All SAFE TO EAT products are designed to remove harmful bacteria, wax, pesticides, and grime with its foam alone, removing the need to scrub and ruin your produce. Coming soon to DERMAGLOVE.com

SAFE TO EAT FOAMING WIPES

Trust and see these wipes at work, naturally and gently cleaning your produce, right before your eyes - through an active, yet, non-aggressive, 30-sec surface foam-agitating formula – all you need to do is wipe-on, wait for the foaming to stop, rinse and enjoy.

SAFE TO EAT FOAMING SPRAY

Developed to begin working the minute it hits the produce, delivering 30-sec’s of scrubbing-bubble-power directly onto and into the produce as a non-toxic, safe cleaning solution that will actively ready your produce – right before your eyes – finally, something you can see, trust and rely on!

PROJECT BACKGROUND

Our mission is to give back what we take from nature with conservation methods and promoting sustainable practices and sustainability education to those who are impacted by it the most. It is our goal to create a friendly environmental ecosystem with sustainable practices that generates wealth together in a healthy and educated society.

Just as our Safe to Eat line allows us to properly cleanse our produce and return it back to its natural state as mother nature had intended, we hope that our conservation efforts can do the same for Uganda’s forests and wildlife. That is why we have incorporated cashew oil into all of our products in the Safe to Eat line to further acknowledge the importance and value of cashew trees in our conservation efforts to both support the local communities and ecosystems impacted by such a cash crop.

Every purchase of Safe to Eat produce wipes helps support conservation efforts for Uganda’s forests and wildlife. This program is specifically being recognized as a proactive way to help make a difference while addressing today’s ongoing concerns associated with deforestation and increasing negative wildlife-human interactions.

The program uses 100% environmentally safe products. Biodegradable refills for all products are offered in 2 oz packets to reduce the amount of plastic that most likely will not be recycled.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

PLANTING CASHEW TREES

One of our main conservation efforts involves the planting of Cashew Trees in local villages within Uganda. Cashew trees are considered cash crops due to their hardy and resilient nature combined with easy planting and harvesting methods. With the help of such a cash crop, the farming communities that grow them in some of the world’s poorest countries can thrive.

HUMAN-WILDLIFE RELATIONSHIPS

Human-chimpanzee sympatry means that humans explore wild resources and chimpanzees also explore human sources of food such as cultivated fields. Despite the low ‘conflict’ levels in these situations, the proximity between these species can create problematic situations that can cause retaliatory killings toward chimpanzees. The increasing monetary value of cashews may create more severe and permanent changes to both the landscape and human perceptions toward chimpanzees. That is why we believe in giving back what we take from nature and promoting sustainable and innovative solutions to deforestation and climate change mitigation.

CONSERVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY  EDUCATION

Conservation is not the protection of nature against human development alone, but the preservation of life-supporting systems and processes as a basis for lasting development in the ecosystems. We believe in educating and engaging people in the fight for animals and for changing their perspective on nature. The 4 C’s of conservation are connection, curiosity, creativity, and most importantly collaboration.
